Spare Parts:  Four Undocumented Teenagers, One Ugly Robot, and the Battle for the American Dream

This is the true story of four Latino teenagers from Phoenix who competed in a University of California competition to build an underwater robot.  They went up against some of the best collegiate engineers in the country, including a team from MIT backed by a $10,000 ExxonMobil grant.  Although it was not a level competition, against all odds, they won!
