The Thumb Rose Society is hosting a special night of flower arranging at the Bad Axe Area District Library on Monday, July 6 at 6:00 pm. The public is invited to participate.
Everyone attending is invited to bring flowers from their gardens, filler, and smaller vases or containers they would like to use or donate to someone. Materials brought might be traded with others attending to provide a variety of arrangements.
Arrangements made by Thumb Rose Society members will be given to local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The Rose Society's goal is that these will be small arrangements that can be set around to provide interest for residents.
There is no charge to attend. This is open to everyone who is interested in making an arrangement or providing flowers to others. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Carol at 989-553-2992.
